About us.

Joelle Jordan started the firm 25 years ago to provide advocacy campaigns and communications strategy for clients. She sees the goal and the “why” for every project and plots the comms plan to get there. She specializes in messaging, writing, and visual storytelling, from videos to testimonials to reports. She’s done extensive work for The Department of the Treasury’s Financial Innovation and Transformation office, the American Heart Association, the IRS Oversight Board, and a variety of non-profit organizations and companies.

Tony Dresden is our OG who had the guts to leave a senior federal government job to join us 15 years ago. He’s the master of long-form writing and long game thinking. He served as a speechwriter for the Chairman and Ranking Minority Members of the Senate Budget Committee and has written for several IRS Commissioners, agency secretaries, CEOs, and leaders of high-profile trade associations, non-profits and advocacy groups. Now an honorary emeritus, he knows how policy works in the real world — a very helpful often-tapped skill.

Ariel del Pozzo has been with Jordan Dresden Communications for over five years as an assistant. With a keen eye for detail and formidable design skills, she’s our go-to in all things Adobe. She’s helped with copy and design edits, photography, layout, preparing files to go to print, and unsung administrative stuff. She recently graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Environmental Design. See her amazing work here.
