In a period when legislative progress was rare, the American Heart Association made extraordinary progress on its major effort to fight for healthy school meals. The association wanted to share its approach to its board, but also its allies and friends.
We worked with staff to develop a case study that shows how the association got involved, took on its opposition, and used best practice tools and tactics. The case study can be used as a primer for major campaigns, but also highlights the hard work and savvy of the association staff.
We developed the project from start to finish, including interviews, writing, layout, adaptation to a digital publication, and a presentation.
